What you will learn
This year-long programme is for newcomers and experienced DJs as well as students wanting to become professionals. This programme is taught by professional musicians with years of experience in many aspects of the music industry, both nationally and internationally. The programme is taught in classrooms, performance venues around Wellington with DJ booths for individual practice.

This programme is formerly known as the New Zealand Certificate in DJing
This programme will include the following:
- DJ performance
- Turntable skills
- The art of mixing
- The history of DJing
- Music production
- Professional studies
Music Auditions
Audition times are available by appointment from the 2nd of September.
Career options
Graduates will have the skills to work as professional DJs or performing artists.
Entry requirements
Domestic students
NCEA level 2 or equivalent qualification/work experience and evidence of ability based on an audition.
International students
Proven equivalence of entry requirements plus IELTS 5.5 (no band lower than 5.0)
