Apply at for financial assistance. Use the StudyLink online tools to ensure you are eligible for a student loan and/or allowance. Start your application as soon as possible to avoid delays. If your loan application is not approved, you will still be liable for any fees due. You need to be a New Zealand citizen or have New Zealand residency for at least three years to be eligible for StudyLink services.

Note: Some short courses and night classes are not eligible for loans. Check with us if you are unsure.
