Collection
Your regalia order will be available for collection prior to your Graduation Ceremony.
Returns
You must return your regalia on the day of your Graduation Ceremony. Failure to do so may incur penalty fees.
Non-Returned and Damaged Regalia
If your regalia is not returned or returned damaged you are liable to pay a replacement fee of
- $235 per Gown (Diploma, Bachelor, Masters)
- $105 per Trencher (hat)
- $175 per Bachelor Hood
- $105 per Masters Hood
- $110 per Diploma Stole
And you are liable for all debt collection charges should the invoice remain unpaid after 30 days.
Security and Privacy
It is necessary for us to obtain information from you to assist with the hire process and in case we need to contact you regarding your hire. The security of your private information is our top priority. It will only be used in relation to the hire or purchase of academic regalia.
We understand and respect our customers need for privacy. Therefore you can be assured that we will not divulge or sell your name to any third parties without prior consent and knowledge.
If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
Cancellation of Your Graduation Event
Whitireia and WelTec reserves the right to cancel any event and is not liable for any cost, whether incurred directly or indirectly, caused as a result of any cancellation or change of venue or date. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of your Graduation Ceremony, you will have the option to transfer to the new ceremony date or receive a refund.
In the event of a cancellation, change of venue or date, Whitireia and WelTec will endeavour to notify you via the contact details given at the time of your application to attend the Graduation Ceremony. Cancellations due to unforeseen circumstance may occur at any time. You are responsible for checking the Whitireia and WelTec website for the most up-to-date information about your event.
If regalia has been uplifted prior to the cancellation of the event refunds will not be processed until regalia has been returned.
If regalia is not returned within the advised date an additional amount will be charged for non-return of regalia.
