Graduation Parade - Lower Hutt Events Centre

We're excited to have the opportunity to parade to the Lower Hutt Events Centre the morning of graduation. We will gather on the paved area by the War Memorial and then parade along the garden path, towards the front entrance of the events centre. 

Graduands from Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Creativity and Hospitality programmes joining the parade will need to meet by the War Memorial by 9:45AM. The parade will start at 10AM following Karakia and Health and Safety notices. 

The blue ‘star’ marks the gathering point for the parade and the walking route is marked in blue dots below

Whānau and friends, along with Whitireia and WelTec kaimahi are welcome to support our graduands by walking alongside them, or cheering the procession.

Cancellation:

The parade will be cancelled in the event of adverse weather. In the event of cancellation, all graduands should arrive at the Lower Hutt Events Centre by 10:15AM in time for your ceremony.
