Bachelor of Youth Development
Complete a degree with your experience recognised. Do you have the NZ Diploma in Youth Work (Level 6), industry registration (Korowai Tupu) and/or five+ years in a youth worker position? If any of these apply to you, you may be eligible to have your prior learning recognised for up to two years of the Bachelor of Youth Development.

Identify, Prevent, Intervene: Family Violence eLearning Series
This short course equips individuals with the skills and knowledge to recognize family violence. It is designed for those responsible for identifying and supporting families in developing preventative strategies or implementing appropriate interventions when facing family violence.

Bachelor of Social Work
Studying the Bachelor of Social Work degree will equip you with the knowledge and skills to work with individuals, whanau/families, and communities to address social problems and promote well-being. You'll be able to advocate for social justice, support people in crisis, and help them access resources and services when needed.

New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Peer Support)
Become a Peer Support worker. Foster hope and build resilience, self-determination and autonomy. Focus on peer support tools, communication strategies, leadership and the power of your own story to support peers and whānau who are experiencing distress.

New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Social and Community Services - Community Health Work)
Become a community health worker in well child tamariki ora. Develop skills in building relationships, leadership and cultural inclusivity. This qualification is for those working in the industry and is delivered in partnership with Plunket.

For people working in the community alongside individuals, whānau/family. Focus on developing autonomy and using tools and strategies to reduce vulnerability and build resilience. Develop skills in building relationships, leadership and cultural responsiveness.
