If you have technical knowledge, skills and experience in a construction related trade, you’ll gain the additional knowledge and skills required to supervise construction teams. This programme uses a work-based and blended model of learning, combining practical, hands-on learning with other teaching methods.

To enrol, you must be employed in the construction industry and have approval from your employer for access to supervision opportunities within your current role.

Entry requirements

  • Applicants must be employed in the construction industry and have employer approval for access to supervision opportunities within their company of employment
  • Hold a level 4 qualification in a construction related area. A minimum of: Literacy - 10 NCEA credits at Level 2 or above (5 credits in reading & 5 credits in writing),  Numeracy - 10 NCEA credits at Level 1 or above.
  • OR Equivalent work experience that demonstrates a likelihood to succeed in the programme
