NCEA (Level 2) - Vocational Pathway Construction and Infrastructure Sector

Sample a range of trades programmes while earning NCEA Level 2 credits. Students can get introductory skills in carpentry, concreting, paving, painting, plumbing and electrical trades. Learn how to safely use and maintain tools, make building calculations and choose materials. Students can then go on to study trades programmes of their choice.

New Zealand Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4)

For those working as a carpentry apprentice. Get the best of both worlds, working on-site while studying the certificate in carpentry. This programme will allow students to become fully qualified carpenters. Learn through practical tutorials, evening classes, workshops and online assessments, while getting regular on-site visits by our highly experienced tutors.

New Zealand Certificate in Construction Trade Skills (Level 3) Carpentry

Study the certificate in construction and get skills that are in high demand. This introductory programme allows students to learn carpentry skills in preparation for getting an apprenticeship. From setting out and levelling, to framing and roofing, students will be well equipped with all the core skills. Students work on real life projects, creating a house which will become a family home, while being supervised by expert tutors in a safe workspace.
